What can Bowen Therapy do for you?
The original Bowen Technique is extremely gentle and is helpful for everyone from pregnant women to newborn babies, the frail and the elderly. It can assist recovery from many conditions - traumatic injury to chronic illness, depending upon each individual’s capacity to heal.
Bowen therapy is versatile and a dynamic remedial therapy which assists with a varied assortment of health concerns.
I first experienced Bowen after having sciatic nerve problems for many years, aggravated by the birth of my first child.
After two sessions I was pain free! Two more pregnancy’s with no problem, as my body was balanced and prepared.
My babies all received Bowen very early in their life, addressing problems like colic, digestive upset and sleep patterns.
After five years of using the Bowen Technique, I made the decision to change my career path and learn this technique.
It has enriched my life; I want to share the benefits with every- body!
I have been using the Bowen Technique in my Business now for 14yrs.
My Yoga classes are themed around self awareness, achieving personal goals and lifting your spirits.

I often hear "Im too Inflexable to do Yoga", my reply is always, Yoga creates flexibility in mind and body.
Bowen is a gentle form of bodywork in which very subtle moves are performed over the muscles and connective tissue sending messages deep into the body, retrieving cellular memory of a preferred, relaxed, balanced way of being.
Results can be remarkable, even from the first session; often only a few sessions are needed to correct the presenting problem.
The Bowen technique does not use forceful manipulation. A Bowen practitioner uses ‘tissue tension sense, to discover stress build-up in muscles and other soft tissue, enabling them to perform specific Bowen moves to assist recovery.
This technique addresses the musculo-skeletal framework as well as the facia, nerves and internal organs.
The body’s integrated response improves circulation and lymphatic drainage and aids in the assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins.

Yoga is part of an ancient system of self improvement which is timeless and universal in its application.
The literal meaning of yoga is to "yoke" or bring into harmony the body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga emphasises the development of strength, stamina, flexibility, and balance, as well as concentration and meditation.
As your yoga teacher, I aim to encourage you to get to know your body through your practice. This means working to your own strengths and identifying your challenges through a guided class with options and support for you to work with.
I have been teaching since 2004, my pleasure comes from my students improvement.

Thai Yoga Technique
Centuries ago, a dynamic bodywork therapy based on yoga and Ayurveda was born in the temples of Thailand.
In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage - also called Nuad Boran and widely known as traditional Thai massage - the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body's energy ("Sen") lines and pressures points.
Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
Thai Yoga Therapy is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility. No oils or creams are used.
Ear candles have a purely physical function.
A light suction action and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the ear candle, generating a massage like effect on the eardrum.
This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses.
It is soothing and helpful for earache and headache, ear noise, stress and nervousness.
